Volunteer and Program Coordinator
Bellarine Living and Learning Volunteer and Program Coordinator

- Part Time (18 hours per week) Monday to Thursday
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of both the volunteer and Centre programs
- Report to a supportive and experienced Centre Manager
The Volunteer & Program Coordinator role is to support the Centre Manager across two key areas of volunteer coordination and program support. Reporting directly to the Centre manager this role will work on the day to day operational side of existing and new programs supporting the lifecycle from research into new programs, implementation, management and review of programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of the different cohorts within the community. They will also be the key point of coordination for volunteers including attracting, recruiting, on-boarding and supporting volunteers to ensure that the organisation continues to be supported by a capable and experienced workforce.

Activities Co-ordinator
The Activities Coordinator will work under the direction of the Torquay Community House Co-ordinator. This role will ensure that the Community House identifies, develops and delivers inclusive, diverse and appealing programs, activities and events that respond to local resident’s interests and needs. It is expected the Activities Co-ordinator will exercise initiative, expertise and passion to ensure programs are developed and delivered effectively and efficiently within a community development framework.
20 hours per week, days to be negotiated.

Casual Childcare Staff
Some Neighbourhood Houses in the Barwon Network offer an Occasional Childcare Service. These centres are often looking for Educators for their casual staff pool.
The requirements for these positions are:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services
- Working with Children Check
- Police Check
- First Aid and CPR
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate.
